October invites us into a deeper kind of perseverance.
Not the striving kind.
Not the “push harder” kind.
But the quiet endurance that learns to stay close to God in every season.
This month at RHW Ministries, we reflected on anxiety, healing, perseverance, and the subtle ways comparison can quietly drain our peace. Each article pointed us back to one truth:
God is forming us in the waiting, the healing, and the daily surrender.
Sometimes growth feels dramatic.
But more often, transformation happens slowly.
Like leaves changing color one shade at a time.
Like healing that happens beneath the surface before anyone else can see it.
As we pause and reflect on October, we are reminded that spiritual growth is not measured by speed. It is measured by surrender.
This Month We Learned…
-
- Healing requires honesty and stewardship.
- Anxiety loses power when we anchor ourselves in God’s presence.
- Perseverance is built one faithful step at a time.
- Comparison pulls us away from gratitude and purpose.
- God’s timing is never rushed—even when we are.
There may be areas in your life where you still feel “in process.”
Maybe you are waiting for healing.
Waiting for clarity.
Waiting for peace.
Waiting for breakthrough.
Sweet friend, do not despise the slow work of God.
Some of the holiest seasons of our lives are hidden ones.
The roots grow deep before the fruit appears.
Anchor Verse
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9 NIV
A Sacred Pause Reflection
Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself:
-
- Where have I seen God’s faithfulness this month?
- What burdens do I need to surrender again?
- Am I striving… or abiding?
- What is God gently teaching me in this season?
Sometimes the greatest spiritual progress happens when we slow down long enough to notice Him.
RHW Victory Lens 💗
You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not failing because the process feels slow.
God is still working.
Even in the hidden places.
Even in the waiting.
Even in the unfinished parts of your story.
Stay close to Him.
The harvest always comes in its season.
